Canon PIXMA iX6850 prices at 14.5ppm in mono and 10.4ppm in color, which are both very respectable speed for an inkjet. Under our testing, though, which include the processing time, we do not look at these high speeds.
5-page mono text and this test gave 10.3ppm increased only slightly, to 10.7ppm in draft mode. It's still a respectable speed for inkjet and increase the number of pages 20 saw speeds increase further, to 11.0ppm.

There is no automatic duplex on this printer, which is a shame, but it can print photos from 15 x 10cm up to A3, making it very versatile. 15 x 10cm photos from your PC and on your Android device took about 43s, fast, and A3 photo took 2:44, also a fair result.

CANON PIXMA IX6850 - PRINT QUALITY AND COSTS

Canon PIXMA iX6840 print quality as good as four other Canon color machine. Black text is sharp and well defined, with no signs of jaggies and a little ink spread. Colour graphics are smooth and bright, although in our test print black text on a color background looks a little thin and indistinct.
Photos come through nicely, with natural colors, smooth transitions and sharp detail, even in dark colors. Although the printer is not designed as a photo printer, Canon can not help themselves and print them well.
